I am a heavier guy and am looking for a stationary exercise bike.?
I don’t want to spend the close to $1000 dollars I keep seeing for a bike that is ok for someone over 250 lbs. I want to start doing something to get in better shape, and because I live in an area that is cold I would really like a stationary bike that I can ride regardless of weather. Does anyone know a good stationary exercise bike that’s weight limit is over 300? I know nothing about this magnetic recumbent stuff so any help, advice, answers is appreciated.
Stationary exercise bike recommendations?
I’m planning on asking for a stationary exercise bike for Christmas, but looking around trying to pick one out has proved to be a lot harder than I expected it to! I’m most interested in a Recumbent or Semi-Recumbent Bike – my family has a long history of back problems, and I’ve heard those types provide the most support. I’ve noticed most stationary bikes support weight up to 250 lbs, but one that could support up to 300 would really be preferable. I have a budget of $500-550.
I’d love to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance.

Do stationary bikes help firm up your buns?
I have been using my stationary recumbent bike 30-60 min daily. I am starting to see some tone in my rear but I am wondering how much help the bike actually gives this area. Thanks!
