I can tell you the difference between a recumbent bike and a regular stationary bike. The pedals of a recumbent bike are farther forward and a regular stationary bike has the pedals below the seat. I think a spin bike is just a stationary bike.

At first glance they seem like the same thing. They basically are but they are designed for slightly different uses.

Firstly a stationary bike is really just a bike that goes nowhere. A spinning bike is a stationary bike designed for spinning. Handles are different as is the resistance system. You couldn’t easily do spinning on a normal stationary bike.

A recumbent bike is more ergonomically correct. It also has benefits for older or overweight people. It also employs the butt muscles more so it’s good for toning.

Other than that they’re pretty much the same.
